What Types Of Payments Do You Accept? TOP
We accept accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and PayPal.
Credit Card and PayPal payments are processesd quickly. If you choose to pay using an e-check through PayPal, your items will NOT ship until the payment has been cleared by Paypal.
Sorry, we are no longer accepting Money Orders.
How Secure is my Credit Card Information? TOP
Our checkout uses 128-bit Secured Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure the security of your on-line purchase. Our company uses authorize.net to process all credit cards transactions. Authorize.net is one of the largest and most trusted credit card processors on the internet. We take every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website that information is encrypted and protected. We shop online to, so we understand how important it is to protect your information.
Can I Place My Order By Phone? TOP
Unfortunately, no. My store is an internet based business. Being one person, I do not have the support staff to offer phone support.
Secondly, my website, shopping cart, and inventory control is all linked into one system. Because of this, ALL orders MUST be placed through this website. This allows for accurate inventory control and quick order processing. My credit card terminal is internet-based. I am not capable of over-the-phone manual credit card transactions.
Is There A Minimum Order On This Site? TOP
Yes. We have recently reduced our minimum order on this site to $5.00 after any discounts have been applied and before shipping and sales tax.
Do You Charge Sales Tax? TOP
Yes. Pennsylvannia residents will be charged a 6% sales tax upon checkout.
Do You Have A Newsletter or Mailing List? TOP

Your Shipping Questions Answered. TOP
We know how anxious you are to get your paper goodies. We get anxious waiting for new products to come in too. Below is an estimate on delivery times and transit times as suggested by both the USPS and UPS. We ship Monday - Friday (a business week). We do not ship on weekend or Holidays.
Most orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. International orders are dispatched every Tuesday and Friday. During our peak season and especially during new releases, it may take a little longer.
How do we calculate Shipping?
Our site is linked to receive real-time shipping calculations from the USPS and UPS. Shipping for all orders is calculated based on package weight and destination. Delivery confirmation is included with every order shipped.
What if I want Insurance on my package?
Insurance for USPS packages is optional. You may add Shipping Insurance to your order during check out; however, The Beary Scrap reserves the right to add insure to any package that we feel necessary. If we should choose to add insurance to your package, there is no additonal charge to you.
You will have the option to select either United States Postal Services (USPS) or UPS to ship your order. If your order qualifies for FREE shipping and you choose the FREE Shipping option, your order will be shipped by the carrier of our choice.
1. We offer the following USPS Shipping Services:
- USPS First Class Mail (generally arrives within 2-5 business days from the shipping date)
- USPS Priority Mail (generally arrives within 1-3 business days from the shipping date.)
- USPS Express Mail (generally arrives the following business day from the shipping date.)
All shippments include order tracking and delivery confirmation.
PLEASE NOTE: The USPS does not guarantee delivery within any specific timeframe. Transit time may be longer during peak periods and holidays.
2. UPS Services:
- UPS Ground Services (generally arrives within 3-10 business days from the shipping date depending on the destination)
- UPS 3 Day Select (arrives within 3 business days from the shipping date)
Please be sure to provide a physical address for shipping. UPS will not ship to PO Boxes.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer Saturday Delivery for UPS services. UPS does not guarantee delivery within any specific timeframe. Transit time may be longer during peak periods and holidays.
We will reserve the right to switch shipping methods from USPS Priority Mail to UPS services based on the weight and size of the order, especially wholesale ordering. If you require an alternate method of shipping, please contact us and we will do our best to make those arrangements for you.
INTERNATIONAL AND APO ORDERS:
International order are dispatched via the USPS.
- USPS First Class International Mail: For packages weighing up to 4 pounds. Delivery times vary anywhere from 7-21 days from the shipping date depending on the destination.
- USPS Priority International Mail: Must be used for packages weighing over 4 pounds. Delivery time varies between 6-10 days from the shipping date depending on the destination.
All packages exiting the United States will be shipped with the required customs documentation and marked as merchandise. This is a legal requirement and there are NO exceptions. Documentation includes product list and value of contents. You will be resposible for your country's duty, VAT or import taxes. Please, DO NOT ask us to mark your item as a gift. It is illegal for us to do so.
Do You Ship Internationally? TOP
Yes we do! We are now accepting and shipping orders worldwide!

How Do I View My Shipping Costs? TOP
You may view your shipping charges at any time. In the "View Cart" screen, click on the "Calculate Shipping" button. You will be taken to another screen where you will select your Country and/or zip code. Enter the information then Next, select your state from the drop down box.
From this screen you can view the shipping options available for the weight and destination of your package. Using the radio buttons, select how you would like us to ship your order.
Finally, click on the "Continue" button.
If you add additional items to your order and you want to check the shipping cost again, you will need to repeat this same process.
Does my order qualify for Free Shipping? TOP
Free shipping is offered periodically for US order over $100.00 in the lower 48 states. Other times we will offer free shipping promotions for orders over a certain dollar amount, for pre-ordered items, or with a coupon. Free shipping threasholds may changed based on current sales and promotions.
When your orders qualifies for free shipping, the method of shipping will be at our discretion, either USPS or UPS. Please be sure you provide a "residential address" for delivery of your order.
I Live Close By. Can I Pick Up My Order? TOP
Not at this time. Our retail store located in Shavertown is now closed. Local pick-up has been temporarily removed from our website.
What If My Item(s) Are On Back Order? TOP
If an item is currently out of stock and expected to arrive at our store within a the next couple of days, we will hold your order and ship all items together.
If it will take several days for that item to return to stock, your order will ship immediately, less the back-ordered item(s). We will ship the back-ordered item(s) at no additional charge to you when the item becomes available. We reserve the right to ship back-order items using our carrier and method of choice.
*NOTE: We do not replenish coordinating paper lines, so if a line sells out, we DO NOT re-order it. In this instance, you will receive a refund for the product that is out-of-stock.
How do I make a Return or Exchange? TOP
Your satisfaction is our priority. Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your package for a refund or an exchange. Shipping Charges are NON-REFUNDABLE. There is a 15% restocking fee for returned merchandise.
If you have received a defective item, please let us know immediately.
When returning your merchandise for a refund/exchange, you will need to obtain a return authorization from us. This is only so we are aware that your are returning an item and when we can expect to receive it. Please email us at email@example.com and let us know.
Merchandise must be in unused, original packaging and suitable for resale. Please include your invoice or packing slip and the reason for the return.
You are responsible for postage when returning your merchandise. You may want to insure your return as we cannot be responsible for lost packages.
Refunds via the original payment method will be made once we have received the merchandise in satisfactory condition.
Do you have a printed catalog? TOP
Because our stock is constantly changing with the industry, it would not be viable or environmentally friendly to offer a printed catalog. Suppliers frequently discontinue product lines, and offer new coordinating lines quite often. We would not be able to maintain an up-to-date catalog.
How Do I Use My Coupon/Voucher Code? TOP
If you received a coupon with a DISCOUNT CODE, you will need to enter the code in the field marked "Discount Code" on the "View Cart" screen. DISCOUNT and GIFT VOUCHER codes are case sensitive. Be sure to enter them exactly as they appear.
Once you have entered the CODE in the box, you MUST CLICK RECALCULATE IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE THE CODE. To be sure that the code has been activated, view the cotents of your cart. Your savings will be indicated above the "subtotal" line. If it hasn't been activated, make sure the code is correct, and check to make sure that your purchase qualified for the discount.
Coupon codes between The Beary Scrap and Beary Sweet Designs Digital Cutting Files websites are not transferable. Although Beary Sweet Designs Digital Cutting Files is a sister site, both websites operate on two separate shopping carts systems.
Do You Take Custom Orders For Tear Bears? TOP
Unfortunately, No. I LOVE to create, and I LOVE making tear bears and other paper piecings. 99% of my pre-made items are one of a kind original works of art. If I were to make something more than once, it would be unfair to the individual who purchased the original piece.
On another note, I simply do not have the time to make custom orders. Juggling 3 young and active children, a supportive hubby, managing our home, our retail store, and our website, there doesn't leave much time for anything else. When I get the opportunity to create, I like to follow my heart by what has recently inpired me... which is usually something my children have said or done.
Do you sell Wholesale? TOP
No. We are no longer offering any of our Beary Sweet Designs Patterns or mulberry paper at wholesale pricing.
Where can I find tutorials for Tear Bears? TOP
Need some help with your tear bears. We got you covered... well, almost. Kimm is working hard on finding the time to create tutorials for all of her patterns. Being the desinger, and the person that mainly keeps thing running smoothly, it's not easy finding the time to do it all. Please be patient with her... she's working on getting more tutorials posted and a few video tutorials up for all of her patterns.
