An outline of some of our retail store policies and programs:

Class & Crop Rules

PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED IN ORDER TO HOLD YOUR RESERVATION.

Class information: Please review the class description for supplies that you made need to bring to class. Generally, students attending class will need to bring double-sided adhesive, scissors, and a personal paper trimmer. Additional supplies will be listed in the class description. Other supplies or tools that you would like to bring are optional.

Class Kits are available for those who are unable to attend and would like to make the class project.

Crops: Cost for the crop is listed on the event date page. Refreshments and/or meals are included. Please bring whatever you need to work on your projects including photos. Of course, you can shop the store for whatever you need. Participants will receive 10% off non-sale merchandise for attending a crop. Not applicable for classes unless otherwise noted.

Registration Policy: Due to the number of croppers not showing up for scheduled events, PAYMENT IS NOW EXPECTED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. We have had wait lists for spots to crop and have turned away several clients because we had a "full house" registered on paper. Only to find on crop night, we would have 2-3 openings. This was not fair to those that wanted to attend, so we have no other choice but to enforce or existing policy.

We have limited space in our workroom. In order to allow enough room for our friends to be comfortable scrapping, our classes and crops are limited in size. It is important to reserve your spot early. In order to reserve your space for events, payment is required at the time of registration. You may register by visiting our retail store OR preregister by calling or email us. In order to hold your spot, you MUST come in within 72 hours so you don't loose your seat. You can be replaced by a paying cropper.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours of the scheduled event to receive a full refund. Please call or email us. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will NOT be eligible for a refund or class credit. Our instructors work hard to prepare their classes, and food orders are already made by this time for scheduled crops. If you are unable to attend a class and would like the materials in the class kit, we will be more than happy to hold it for you.

In the event that a class or crop is cancelled by The Beary Scrap, a full refund will be issued.

Customer Rewards Card Program Outline (in store only):

Every first time shopper will receive a Customer Rewards Card upon their first purchase up to $20.00 with one credited punch even if the purchase is under $20.00. If the amount is over $20.00, the card will be credited for the purchase amount before applicable sales tax.

Customer Reward Cards expire 1 year from the date issued.

Customers accumulate credits on their card for every $20.00 purchase made until the card is full for a total of 10 credits. If the purchase amountis $44.00 before tax, cards will be given 2 credits. You cannot retain the balance for the next visit you make to our store.

Customers can redeem their cards when filled to receive 20% off their entire purchase of all regularly priced store merchandise.

Cards are NOT redeemable on sale items unless noted in the store.

Cards are NOT redeemable with any other offer, including competitor coupons.

Cards may NOT be redeemed on special orders, crops, classes, or storewide sales events, unless otherwise noted.

Cards may NOT be redeemed on the same purchase that filled the card. A new card may be issued immediately, or upon the customers next visit to the store. Newly issued rewards cards will NOT receive credits on the same purchase a full card was redeemed on.

Only one reward card may be redeemed per visit.

The Beary Scrap reserves the right to make changes, modifications or cancel this program at any time.

Check Policy:

We will gladly accept checks with valid PA driver's license.

There is a $25.00 fee for all returned checks.

Competitor Coupons:

Only Newspaper coupons from local competitors will be accepted. That means only Michaels' JoAnns, and A.C. Moore. Internet or printed coupons are NOT accepted.

Coupon dates must be valid in order to be used.

Coupons will only be accepted for non-sale items. They cannot be used on special orders, crops, classes, etc.

Only one coupon per customer per week will be accepted.

We will honor up to 30% off (or 10% less the face value) competitor coupons for one item.
